Lisa Treacher qualified in GP Referral in 2005 and was instrumental in setting up the GP referral scheme that is still in operation at a gym she worked in until 2010.
Lisa has a passion for her work and feels that she can make a positive impact in peoples lives by the way in which she works and genuinely cares for her clients. Many people entering a gym environment for whatever reason feel very self concious, embarrassed and out of their comfort zone. We at Lifestyles recognise this so we have created an environment that is welcoming, peaceful, warm and friendly. There are no TV's, no music and there is lots of natural sunlight.
To become a GP referral client/member it does not always necessitate a GP referral letter however there is a strong likelihood that Lisa will contact your practitioner and work closely with other therapists that you may be seeing to give you the best help available.
Lisa can help with:
Osteo and Rheumatoid Arthritis
You will need to provide Lisa with a full medical history and current medication as your past nearly always influences your present and certain medications will have an impact on how you are trained and on how you react to certain training principles.
You will receive a full assessment on movement and flexibility, fitness levels, balance and strength. From the results it will be determined between yourself and Lisa whether you need one to one training or after an induction you can train on your own.
If you are able to train independently but would rather train on a one to one basis with Lisa then the option is always there. Lifestyles never wants you to feel like you 'have been left to it'. We are always there to give you additional help and support.
Progress records will be taken and recorded at each session and information may be shared with your GP on a regular basis.
An hour's assessment is required initially.Sessions are:
1 hour £55
3/4 hour £45
1/2 hour £35
